There are a few products available that offer a flavor of Gravity Form to Google Sheet. I know this because I have bought and used some of them. I would not have built Entries to Google Sheet if I had found something similar that provided these features I refuse to live without:
- Never re-map fields
- The shortfall in most integrations between a Gravity Form and a Google Sheet is the moment the form needs a new field or the order of fields is changed, the integration needs to be remapped by hand. Entries to Google Sheet appends new columns to the end of the Sheet when new fields are added to the form. This plugin puts the values in the right columns after you rearrange the columns in the Sheet. This plugin always appends new rows to the right tab in the Sheet, even if you rename “Sheet1” and add other spreadsheet tabs before or after it.
- Never map fields even once
- This plugin writes every field to the Sheet automatically including entry metadata like ID and timestamp. The Sheet resembles the core Gravity Forms export CSV and existing entries will be added when the Sheet is created.
- Never prepare a Sheet with the proper number of columns
- The Create Sheet button does all the work, and you don’t leave the WordPress dashboard. An Open Sheet button appears. Life is easy.
- Never grant third-party access to my entire Google Drive
- This plugin follows the principle of least privilege and only requests access to Google Drive files it creates. Authenticating this plugin exposes your data to no risk because Entries to Google Sheet cannot read or edit any other files in your Google Drive.
- Support for Edits
- Supports edits, deletes, and restores from trash.
